Graduate Radar System Engineer

2 Year Graduate Scheme

Fareham, Hampshire (Hybrid Working)

£30,000 + Bens (with regular increases)

Opportunity for an Engineering Graduate to join a global leader in Air Traffic Management Systems and to work on the latest technologies within the Radar space.

The company is committed to developing talented graduates and provides an exceptional, structured 2-year graduate scheme in which you will develop a wide range of systems engineering skills.

The Role

1. You will be joining an experienced team that is focused on the implementation, maintenance and deployment of infrastructure services and Air Traffic Management products into customer environments across the UK.
2. You’ll be working daily with a variety of laboratory equipment, operating systems and networks.
3. You’ll learn how to perform optimizations and deployments of key products, perform installation and verifications on client premises while following relevant operational and test procedures in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

1. The team is looking for an Engineering Graduate (e.g., Aerospace, Electronics, Physics) with a passion for technologies such as radar and prior experience with test equipment (such as oscilloscopes, network analysers, and signal generators).
2. The role will entail up to 6 months initial development in that office before some travel to client sites in the UK, so the ability and willingness to travel, drive, and stay away from home is essential.
3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team is required along with a willingness to learn concepts and approaches.
