Job summary
Galliford Try invites graduates to join UK's top-rated construction and civil engineering graduate programme as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor. You will assist commercial administration and reporting on a major project or several schemes, with a two-year programme and professional qualifications funded.
The role starts September 2027, may require travel and staying away from home, and offers a starting salary of £31,250 plus a car benefit scheme, private medical insurance and generous holiday
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management before Sept 2027.
- Driving licence valid for UK by Sept 2027.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- Strong teamwork and communication.
Responsibilities
- Learn to use the latest software tools to report cost and value.
- Interpret expenditure reports from internal cost systems.
- Involve in procurement of Subcontract partners and bid evaluation.
- Produce Subcontract documentation.
- Assist in commercial notices and change management.
- Assist in cost-to-complete and schedules of Subcontractor liabilities.
- Support monthly payment applications to Client.
