Graduate Quality Technician – Rochdale – £28,000 + Excellent Benefits

Are you a recent graduate looking to kick-start your career in quality and compliance? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Quality Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Rochdale. Offering a salary of £28,000 plus excellent benefits, this role is 100% office-based (with some flexibility) and would suit someone who is highly organised and keen to build a career in health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance. The company has been operating for over 70 years, employs over 80 staff, and has a strong reputation in its industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing improvement of health, safety and quality procedures.

  • Conduct internal audits across systems and processes to ensure compliance.

  • Keep documentation and maintenance systems for equipment and plant up to date.

  • Oversee records and checks related to fire safety, Legionella control, and first aid equipment.

  • Provide administrative support across compliance activities, including internal reports and audits.

What Experience is Required

  • A degree in a relevant subject (such as Science, Engineering, or related fields) or a NEBOSH certification.

  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

  • An interest in health & safety and working within a regulated environment.
