This position will have a critical role in driving product quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within our manufacturing plant.

What you'll do:

  • Support the daily operation of the Ferrybridge plant through routine lab testing, process trial coordination, and improvement project execution.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance finished product quality and plant process stability.
  • Work on cost optimisation and variable cost reduction initiatives.
  • Assist in plant quality compliance, reliability improvements, and environmental safety standards.
  • Provide coverage and support to the Quality Technician and Senior Process Engineer, helping to drive projects forward and represent the department in key meetings.
What you'll bring:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Maths, Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with both shopfloor teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with data or administrative responsibilities preferred.
