Job summary

McMullen Facades - Part of JRL Group in Carlton-on-Trent is recruiting a Quality Inspector for a junior/graduate entry level role. You will train in established QA procedures and apply them on the production floor, inspecting materials and guiding teams to uphold quality standards.

No prior inspection experience is required; you will receive full induction and hands-on training as you learn to record findings, generate reports, and contribute to consistent product quality across the site.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with methodical approach and reliability.
• Willingness to learn QA procedures and apply them on the floor.
• Good written and verbal communication for recording findings.
• Basic IT skills to log inspections and photographs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and components against drawings and specifications.
• Carry out checks at key production stages to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Record findings clearly, including photographic evidence and inspection reports.
• Work with production operatives to explain and reinforce quality standards daily.
• Flag non-conformances and help maintain smooth, consistent quality.
