The role

Ferrovial Construction seeks Graduate Quality Engineers to assist with, and sometimes be responsible for, daily activities on major UK infrastructure projects. Our 3-year graduate development program aims to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Quality Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to health and safety compliance and uphold quality standards on projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in writing and reviewing quality documentation, including Quality Management Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Support the development of communication strategies to ensure understanding and adherence to quality plans by all employees and subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance of construction works and relevant documentation in accordance with Works Information, Ferrovial standards, and Technical Standards.
  • Assist in preparing reports for the senior Quality team.
  • Support investigations and audits conducted by the Project Quality Manager.
  • Advise on quality requirements and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Promote customer requirements throughout the business.
  • Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK’s Vision and Values.
  • Take ownership of assigned work.
  • Ensure safety regulations are followed on-site and that staff comply.
  • Support environmental and sustainability policies and procedures.

Skills and Competence

  • Degree or Masters in any discipline.

  • Technical knowledge in Civil, Mechanical, and/or Electrical engineering.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Experience in Quality assurance.
  • CSCS Card.

  • Right to work in the UK from the start and throughout the graduate program.
