The Role

We seek Graduate Quality Engineers to support various activities on major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development program aims to enhance personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended learning approach. You will work under the supervision of Quality Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to health and safety compliance and uphold quality standards on projects.
• Assist in writing and reviewing quality documentation, including Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plans.
• Support communication strategies to ensure understanding of quality plans among staff and subcontractors.
• Monitor compliance of construction works and documentation in line with design drawings, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare reports for the senior Quality team.
• Support investigations and audits with the Project Quality Manager.
• Advise on quality requirements, promote continuous improvement, and foster innovation.
• Promote customer requirements and align with Ferrovial’s vision and values.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and adhere to safety practices.
• Support environmental and sustainability policies.

Skills and Competence

Candidates should possess:

• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
• A degree or master’s in any discipline.
• Motivation to learn and contribute.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive learning attitude.
• Understanding of industry and Microsoft Office tools.
• Technical knowledge in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.

Interpersonal Skills

• Motivated, logical, resilient, flexible, results-driven, and independent work capability.

Desirable

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Experience in quality assurance.
• CSCS Card.

Essential

• Legal right to work in the UK for the duration of the program.
