The role

Ferrovial Construction seeks Graduate Quality Engineers to assist with, and sometimes be responsible for, daily activities on major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development program aims to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Quality Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to Health and Safety compliance and uphold Quality standards on projects.
  • Assist in writing and reviewing quality documentation, including Quality Management Plans & Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Support development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure understanding of quality plans among employees and subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance of construction works and relevant documentation according to standards.
  • Assist in preparing reports for the senior Quality team.
  • Support investigations and audits with the Project Quality Manager.
  • Advise on quality requirements and promote continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Promote customer requirements across the business.
  • Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values.
  • Take ownership of assigned work.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and ensure staff compliance.
  • Support environmental and sustainability policies.
Skills And Competence
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Degree or Masters in any discipline.
  • Motivated to learn and contribute to the team and program.
  • Analytical problem solver and effective team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive learner with commercial awareness.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Technical knowledge in Civil, Mechanical, and/or Electrical engineering.
