The role

Ferrovial Construction is seeking Graduate Quality Engineers to assist with, and sometimes be responsible for, daily activities on major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development program is designed to enhance personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended learning approach. You will work under the supervision of Quality Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to achieving Health and Safety standards in line with company policy and uphold Quality standards on our projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in writing and reviewing quality documentation, including Quality Management Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Support development of communication strategies to ensure understanding and compliance with quality plans among all employees and subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance of construction works and documentation on site, in accordance with design drawings, Ferrovial standards, and technical standards.
  • Assist in preparing reports for the senior Quality team.
  • Support investigations and audits conducted by the Project Quality Manager.
  • Advise on quality requirements and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Promote customer requirements throughout the organization.
  • Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on-site.
  • Support environmental and sustainability policies and procedures.

Skills and Competence:

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Degree or Masters in any discipline.
  • Motivated to learn and contribute value.
  • Analytical problem solver and effective team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Technical knowledge in Civil, Mechanical, and/or Electrical engineering.
