Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is recruiting a Graduate Quality Assurance Manager for a facades project in Cardiff Bay. This role is ideal for a graduate or early-career professional to gain experience on a major construction project.

You will support the project team in maintaining quality standards, ensuring compliance with specifications, and assisting with QA documentation throughout the project lifecycle. A 10-month temporary contract is on offer with opportunities to learn and develop within

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in Construction Management, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or Quality Management is advantageous.
• Interest in QA within construction, ideally facades/building envelope.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Competent IT and documentation management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and monitoring the Quality Assurance Plan.
• Maintain QA documentation, inspection records with photos and test plans.
• Assist with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Carry out site inspections of facade works to ensure standards.
• Record and monitor NCRs and ensure corrective actions.
• Liaise with site management and subcontractors on quality issues.
• Ensure project documentation is up to date and compliant with standards and safety requirements.
