Job summary

Apetito is seeking a motivated Graduate Software QA Engineer / SDET to join our Quality Assurance team in the United Kingdom. This role offers hands-on testing across the product stack, including manual and automated testing, with opportunities to present to the executive board as part of the graduate program.

You’ll test across the testing pyramid from unit to end-to-end, collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, and contribute to real-world projects from day one.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field; 2:2 or better, graduating by August 2026.
• Applied programming experience in a commercial/project setting.
• Basic knowledge of TypeScript and/or C#/.NET; understanding testing principles.

Responsibilities

• Test across the full testing pyramid: unit, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
• Perform manual testing to explore new features and ensure a strong user experience.
• Design and implement automated tests using Playwright to validate core user journeys.
• Create and execute API tests using Postman, focusing on functionality, performance and security.
• Ensure testing aligns with the test strategy; contribute to quality and process improvements.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, QA, and product owners.
• Log, investigate and report defects with clear documentation and follow-through.
• Continuously learn and apply best practices in test automation and software quality.
