Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Up to £550 per week – Immediate Start
Location: Coventry School

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Supporting students with a variety of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Assisting teachers in adapting lessons and strategies to meet the psychological and learning needs of students
  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to help students understand key concepts and engage with their studies
  • Encouraging students to develop essential social and emotional skills to enhance their learning experience
  • Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive mental health and well-being
  • Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement individual learning plans and monitor student progress
  • Using psychological techniques to help students build confidence, resilience, and academic success
  • Promoting an inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued
What We’re Looking For:
  • A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology or a related field
  • A genuine passion for psychology and helping students with SEN
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts and support students effectively
  • Patience, empathy, and flexibility to meet the individual needs of each student
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to make a positive impact on students’ academic and emotional development
  • An interest in pursuing a career in psychology, education, or SEN support
