Job summary

Gardiner & Theobald LLP in Leeds is seeking a Graduate Assistant Project Manager to start immediately. You will join the G&T Accelerate Programme, working toward Chartered membership of RICS while gaining hands-on project management experience on construction and infrastructure projects.

The role focuses on coordinating project teams, managing programmes, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Requires a 2:1 degree or above.
• Strong IT systems knowledge and ability to use modern software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a client-focused approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload to deadlines.
• Reliable and professional; works well independently and in a team.
• Demonstrates a proactive, adaptable attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project programmes and monitor milestones.
• Record minutes and actions from meetings and support data analysis.
• Provide updates to clients and maintain regular communication of progress.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Assist with contract documentation and site/meetings attendance as needed.
• Support managers to deliver project objectives and key deliverables.
• Prepare performance and progression reports for project teams.
• Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders to support project success.
