Job summary

BAE Systems is inviting graduates to join a structured development programme starting from September 2027. You will help deliver advanced defence, aerospace and security solutions while contributing to customer commitments with a focus on quality and cost efficiency.

From day one you’ll collaborate with experienced colleagues across engineering, digital and business fields, gaining skills and recognised qualifications in a supportive environment that values inclusion and wellbeing.

• Many roles are subject to national security vetting and export control restrictions.

Entry requirements?

You’ll need a minimum 2:2 Bachelor’s degree in a subject related to your chosen area.

Please be aware that many roles at BAE Systems are subject to both security and export control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks. What is the application process?

The stages of our application process include: a short online application. If you’re successful, you'll then complete an online assessment with interactive activities, and an on-demand video interview. The next stage is a competency-based interview, either virtual or face-to-face.
