Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking a Graduate Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination and execution of engineering projects, bridging technical design with project management.

You will assist with scope, scheduling, cost tracking and risk management, interpret client requirements, review drawings and write specifications while coordinating with design engineers, suppliers and clients to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role or placement would be beneficial.
• Computer literate including Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on approach with results orientation.
• Good interpersonal skills with colleagues at all levels.

The Role

• The Graduate Project Engineer will support the planning, coordination and execution of engineering projects while bridging technical design with project management.
• Assist project planning with project scope, scheduling, programming, cost tracking and risk management.
• Will help in technical support and design by interpreting client requirements, reviewing engineering drawings, writing technical specifications and support system configuration.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, design engineers, suppliers and clients to keep projects on track.
• Some site work may be involved.
• You will ensure all work adheres to health, safety, environmental and industry regulations.

The Person

• Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in an Engineering discipline.
• Experience in a similar role and or placement would be beneficial.
