Overview

Hardman Grey Recruitment is partnering with our client to recruit a Graduate / Project Civil Engineer. You’ll support civil design projects in commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, and education sectors, working on schemes up to £40 million in value.

The Engineer Will Be Responsible For

  • Designing below-ground foul and surface water drainage systems
  • Undertaking civil design across multidisciplinary projects (up to £40m)
  • Producing AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation
  • Liaising with planning departments and flood authorities
  • Contributing to SuDS design and highway-drainage interface
  • Managing deadlines and self-organising workload

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • A relevant civil engineering qualification plus 2–3 years’ experience
  • Experience with drainage systems, SuDS, and highways integration
  • Competence in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and/or InfoDrainage
  • Strong initiative and teamwork skills
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
