Job summary

Rebellion in Oxford is seeking a Junior Programmer to join a small, passionate team of developers focused on bringing Rebellion titles to Apple platforms. You will work with senior engineers to adapt, optimise, and integrate existing game codebases for Apple hardware and ecosystems, with emphasis on cross-platform development and low-level performance.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate with strong C++ skills and a willingness to learn Objective-C, in a collaborative, creative environment.

For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

We are seeking a talented Junior Programmer to join a small but passionate group of experienced developers focused on bringing Rebellion titles to Apple platforms!

As a Junior Programmer, you will work closely with senior engineers to adapt, optimise, and integrate existing game codebases targeting Apple hardware and ecosystems. This is an ideal for a recent graduate with a strong foundation in C++ and an interest in low-level systems, performance optimisation and cross-platform development.

This role is based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success. We can provide a relocation package, including movingassistance, temporary accommodation, and full support to ensure a smooth transition to yournew environment.
