Job description

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for technology and a curiosity for how complex systems come together? This is a fantastic opportunity to kick‑start your career within a world‑leading communications company developing advanced radio and connectivity products used across critical industries worldwide.

You’ll be joining the Product Definition team, working at the heart of product development – where ideas turn into real‑world solutions. Through hands‑on training and mentorship, you’ll learn how to define the behaviour of sophisticated embedded software products, helping shape the next generation of communication technology.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Translating product requirements into clear, detailed feature definitions
  • Writing technical documentation that guides engineers, testers, and product teams
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams including developers, testers, and product managers
  • Becoming a subject‑matter expert on product functionality and supporting future product owners
  • Gaining exposure to technologies like Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and LTE

No two days are the same. One day you might be clarifying a new product feature with engineers, and the next, working with customer teams to understand how products are used in the field.

What We’re Looking For
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar)
  • A strong interest in embedded systems or digital communications
  • Curiosity about technologies like Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, GPS, and USB
  • Great communication and analytical skills — you’ll love understanding how things work and explaining them clearlyExperience with Android or mobile connectivity technologies would be a bonus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are what really matter.
Why You’ll Love It
  • Structured on‑the‑job training and mentoring from industry experts
  • Real responsibility from day one
  • A clear development path towards Product Owner or other technical leadership roles
  • Work that makes a real‑world impact across emergency services, transport, and defence sectors

This role requires eligibility for SC Clearance.

If you’re a problem‑solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for technology, this is your chance to shape the future of communication systems.
