Graduate (Procurement) – Role

We’re a ground-breaking collaboration between eight leading organisations – Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska, and SWECO – and we deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme. We are seeking a Graduate Procurement Officer to join our growing Commercial & Supply Chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your procurement career in a future-focused industry, working on high-impact projects including water infrastructure, sustainability, and innovation in supply chain strategy. As a key member of our early careers programme, you’ll gain hands-on experience across procurement operations, supplier engagement, tendering processes, and contract management, all while receiving tailored support and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end procurement activities across various categories (construction, engineering, consultancy, services)
• Conduct supplier research and market analysis to inform sourcing decisions
• Assist in preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and managing contract awards
• Collaborate with project teams, legal, and finance to ensure compliance and value delivery
• Contribute to our sustainability, local sourcing, and innovation objectives
• Maintain procurement records and support performance reporting

Essential:

• A recent graduate in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sustainability, Economics)
• Strong interest in procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Organised, proactive, and a team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with data

Desirable:

• Full UK driving licence (or working towards it)
