Job description

We have an exciting opening for an aspiring Process Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative team in Redditch, where you will have the opportunity to contribute on high profile projects, both locally and nationally. You will develop your technical skills and knowledge alongside senior engineers, gaining invaluable exposure to the water industry whilst working on a range of developments from wastewater treatment and water recycling to clean water solutions - exploring the potential of nature-based solutions is a top priority.

You will analyse and interpret data to inform project decisions, contribute to the design and development of engineering solutions, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. We work on the whole project lifecycle from optioneering through to detailed design and implementation, and there is a possibility of site visits and investigations to broaden your understanding.

At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. Along with your Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, and a keen interest in the water industry, we'd love to receive your application if you are:

  • An adapter: you're able to remain calm in new and changing situations, comfortably switching between a variety of dynamic and exciting tasks.
  • A Perseverer: you stay composed in the face of setbacks, approaching challenges with confidence and determination.
  • A Collaborator: you work effectively with lots of different people, considering other's perspectives to shape better outcomes.
  • A Problem-Solver: you love to give your thoughts based on what you see, being unafraid to challenge conventional thinking.
