Job summary

United Infrastructure offers a graduate opportunity within its Energy business, focusing on design, build, and maintenance of national gas infrastructure. You will work on process engineering activities across concept to operations, gaining hands-on experience in gas processing, flow assurance, pressure control, and renewable gas projects.

As a Graduate you’ll contribute to PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing while learning from multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.2 Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Strong thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer knowledge.
• Strong IT, analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing process engineering solutions for gas infrastructure projects.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs, and perform heat and mass balance calculations.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and process simulations.
• Assist in sizing of process equipment (valves, regulators, heat exchangers, separators).
• Support safe and compliant gas processing through risk studies.
• Prepare technical reports and interface with vendors.
• Provide project delivery support across the lifecycle.
• Assist commissioning and performance testing activities.
