This full-time role will see you working alongside experienced teachers across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, offering both group and individual support to pupils. You'll be involved in lesson delivery, encouraging positive behaviour, and nurturing the academic and personal development of every child.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or further training such as a PGCE.
Key Responsibilities – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant | WestminsterSupporting classroom activities and keeping students engaged in their learning
Leading 1:1 sessions and small group interventions
Helping with lesson preparation and maintaining an organised classroom environment
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning atmosphere
Supporting pupils with additional needs (SEN, EAL, etc.)
Holds a degree (2:1 or higher preferred) in Education, Psychology, English, or a related discipline
Has a genuine interest in child development and education
Brings patience, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
Prior experience working with children (formal or informal) is advantageous but not required
