Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a Graduate Primary SEN Supply Teaching Assistant in St Helens. You will support primary pupils with Special Educational Needs, delivering 1:1 and small-group assistance to help learners thrive.

The ideal candidate holds a 2:1 degree or better, has a genuine interest in SEN, and shows patience, adaptability and strong communication. Interviews are currently taking place for this long-term supply role.

Qualifications

• Holds a degree at 2:1 level or above.
• Has a genuine interest in SEN and supporting children's development.
• Previous experience working with children or within an SEN setting is beneficial but not essential.
• Is patient, proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic.
• Has strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supporting primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils thrive.
• Encouraging engagement, confidence and independence in the classroom.
• Supporting children's social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Working closely with teachers to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
