Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Pre-Construction Project Manager to join our Property Services team in the North West.

The successful candidate will report to the Pre-Construction Project Manager and will be responsible for converting successful tenders into construction projects.

What You'll Do

1. Support the Pre-Construction Project Manager in understanding and clarifying the customer brief and key drivers.
2. Work with the team to develop and agree on the bid strategy.
3. Assist in managing the tender process, including design, planning, programming, pricing, commercial aspects, and submission.
4. Encourage a coordinated approach between all team elements.
5. Assist in identifying resources required for various project phases.
6. Establish a pre-construction programme in collaboration with the team.
7. Support the identification of key designer and supply chain relationships.
8. Initiate and support meetings as required.
9. Ensure timely provision of information by the team.
10. Support development of value engineering proposals if needed.
11. Contribute to written submissions.
12. Assist in identifying and addressing risks within the tender.
13. Support tender adjudication and decision-making processes.
14. Contribute to internal and external reporting by the Pre-Construction Project Manager.
