About The Role

Depending on your knowledge and experience your main responsibilities will be the processing of a range of planning applications and associated consents, including providing pre-application advice on proposed applications, assessing, preparing and presenting reports on planning applications and representing the Council in any appeals. As a pro-growth authority there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with housing, retail and employment developments.
Explaining every step of the planning process to our customers is vital to our success, and your achievements will be based not only on your ability to do your job but also on putting customer service at the heart of everything you do.
Our offices are located in Rugby Town Centre and there is also the opportunity to work from home for some of the time during the working week.
