Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is offering a Graduate - Planner role, based in Derby, supporting national projects within the Power Transmission & Distribution sector. You will join our 2027 Early Careers programme, taking on real responsibilities from day one and developing technical, professional skills with experienced colleagues.

You’ll gain experience in planning, project controls, forecasting, and reporting while working toward professional accreditation within a structured graduate development

Qualifications

• We’re looking for graduates with a Construction Management/Civil Engineering degree or related field.
• You’ll need to achieve a minimum 2:2 honours degree by start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining project programmes and schedules.
• Analyse progress data and support project decision‑making.
• Support forecasting and resource planning for projects.
