Planning & Development Consultancy (Independent)
We are currently working with a progressive and independent planning consultancy to appoint a Graduate Planner at a key stage of the company’s growth.

With a growing client base of landowners, developers, promoters and public sector bodies, this is a fantastic opportunity to begin your planning career with hands-on involvement across a wide range of projects.
You will work alongside a highly experienced and supportive team on:
Preparing and managing planning applications
Supporting strategic land promotions and policy representations
Undertaking research, site assessments and client reporting
Engaging with stakeholders, consultants, and local authorities
The work spans residential, commercial, and rural sectors, providing a varied and engaging start to your career in planning.
A degree in Town Planning or a related field (Geography, Urban Studies, etc.)
An interest in pursuing MRTPI accreditation (or already working towards it)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn
An ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Experience from a placement year or internship in planning is beneficial but not essential.
