Job Description

As a Graduate Technical Purchaser, you will play a vital role in our technical purchasing projects, focusing on hydraulic radial piston motor components. You will collaborate with experienced colleagues to drive initiatives that improve our procurement processes, providing essential support in administrative tasks.

• Take ownership of technical purchasing projects, working closely with team members to ensure successful outcomes.
• Generate and monitor requests for quotations using our Pilum system.
• Engage in technical discussions with suppliers, prepare and conduct meetings, and ensure effective follow-up with colleagues.
• Assist in coordinating sampling processes with suppliers and technical departments, maintaining accurate records in our IQS central systems.
• Prepare sourcing decisions within a global procurement landscape.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
• Act as a liaison between project buyers, business units, and suppliers, representing the purchasing department in the Product Development Process (PEP) and identifying opportunities for cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar.
• Ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
• Proactive, tenacious, results-driven attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, high self-motivation, and commitment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
