At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland, we design, develop, and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world-renowned international OEMs in industries such as material handling, construction, and forestry machinery.

Job Description
  1. You will acquire an in-depth insight and understanding of the engineering of Hydraulic Motors and Mobile Hydraulics.
  2. Communicate with Sales / Customers to collate relevant data.
  3. Analyse customer data.
  4. Make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Communicate with Design where new motor variants are required.
  6. Participate in quality methods to determine failure root cause.
  7. Prepare technical reference documents (e.g., datasheets).
  8. Support the project manager and project team within new development projects.
  9. Assist with planning innovation pipeline.
  10. Assist with defining requirements based on customer feedback.
  11. Ensure “voice of the customer” is present throughout the product development process.
  12. Conduct market research and prepare analyses.
  13. Prepare product roadmaps.
  14. Prepare strategy documents.
  15. Assist with maintaining product configurator.
  16. Assist with product benchmark planning and reporting.
  17. Assist with product lifecycle planning.
  18. Timely completion of technical enquiries / deviations.
Qualifications
  • Good quality Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree.
  • Experience of working within a multifunctional engineering company.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and strong organisational skills.
  • Able to meet strict deadlines and produce clear and concise work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent MS Office capability and understanding.
