Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pipeline Graduate Engineer to join our pipeline engineering team. This entry-level role involves supporting engineering efforts from front-end and detailed design through to construction and commissioning of energy projects. The role offers training to develop technical competencies in pipeline design and construction management, with opportunities to grow into pipeline mechanical design, route selection, and other critical areas.

Graduate Development Programme

Our programme focuses on developing leadership and technical skills, supporting graduates in achieving Chartership. After 8-10 months, there may be opportunities to rotate across various projects in the UK over a two-year period, gaining diverse experience. Line managers are committed to supporting your development.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver design work following company procedures under the guidance of a Lead Engineer
  • Support the Pipeline Engineering Team in resource planning and monitoring design progress
  • Report to Lead Pipeline Engineer and Discipline Manager with feedback and improvement suggestions
  • Ensure activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and organizational responsibilities
Qualifications
  • MSc in Pipeline Engineering, Offshore and Ocean Technology (specialising in Pipeline Engineering), or MSc Subsea and Pipeline Engineering
  • Formal education or experience in pipeline engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to work across various UK locations during the 2-year programme
  • Proactive communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
