Job summary

Rentokil Initial plc is seeking a Graduate Pest Control Technician to cover Plymouth and surrounding areas. The role includes full training with no prior experience required, and a clear progression path over 12-36 months into roles such as Sales Surveyor or Field Biologist.

The position offers a starting salary of £27,669 with expected OTE of £32,447 per year, a company vehicle, fuel card, and other benefits. It is a full-time, Monday–Friday role designed to develop your career in pest control.

Qualifications

• A minimum 2.2 degree in a science/BSc related subject including Social Science, or a BA in Business Management, Hospitality or Tourism.
• Willingness to participate in full training programmes.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offering valuable advice to customers on maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Completing accurate reports after every visit.
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.
