Are you a 2025 or recent PE or Sports Graduate?

Would you like to gain valuable experience as a Teaching Assistant ahead of applying for Teacher training in September 2026?

Role Details:
  • Start: September 2025
  • Full Time, 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
  • Term Time Only – Monday to Friday
  • Location: Borough of Richmond
  • Salary: £90 to £110 per day depending on experience, including holiday pay

Academics is working with a fantastic primary school in Richmond to appoint a graduate passionate about Sports and Physical Education. The role involves working alongside teachers to promote sport within the school.

School Highlights:

This Richmond-based school has a strong reputation in private school sports leagues, competing in fixtures against local teams with notable success in Football, Hockey, and Cricket. The school is known for its sports programs and sends children to top senior schools.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in paid or unpaid capacities (e.g., youth work, coaching, clubs, tutoring, caring for relatives)
  • Good standard of spoken and written English
  • Flexible to support PE and other teachers in delivering lessons and activities
  • Commitment to work from September 2025 to July 2026, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm during term time
Role Responsibilities:

Supporting children in Years 3 to 7 during PE lessons, lunchtime, and after-school clubs. The role requires diligence, hard work, and a willingness to role model high standards and excellent behavior.
