The role
Role
The focus of this role is to assist our lawyers and enable them to effectively represent our clients. It offers a great opportunity for those looking to develop their knowledge and experience in Property Litigation law. Responsibilities include:
- Case File Management: Maintaining accurate and organised case files, including legal documents, evidence, correspondence, and tracking deadlines.
- Document Preparation: Preparing and filing court documents, notices, and other legal paperwork.
- Client Communication: Handling inquiries, taking instructions, and providing information to clients.
- Research and Advice: Conducting legal research, advising on property litigation matters, and providing guidance to clients.
- Data Entry: Updating information in Liberate.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to legal and administrative procedures in line with relevant laws.
- Administrative Duties: Managing financial transactions efficiently and assisting with reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Strong organisational skills: Ability to track deadlines and court dates.
- Attention to detail: Accurate record-keeping and document preparation.
- Knowledge of legal processes: Familiarity with litigation procedures and effective legal research skills.
- Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with case management systems.
- Qualifications: A qualifying law degree with an interest in property management law.
