Graduate or Experienced Teaching Assistant – Greenwich – Full time

About the role:

Do you have a passion for working with students?

Our Academy has an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and efficient individual to join us as a Teaching Assistant. The role involves working with students with various additional educational needs, often with an Education and Health Care Plan. This position is suitable for experienced TAs seeking a new opportunity or graduates aiming to gain classroom experience with potential future teacher training.

Successful candidates will work 1:1 with selected students, support small groups in mainstream and inclusion settings, differentiate resources, and set and monitor targets in collaboration with teachers. What are we looking for in you?

Previous experience working with young people is preferred. You should have GCSEs (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy. A commitment to personal development and sharing our values is essential. We offer a professional, supportive environment and opportunities for growth.

This is a long-term role offering £85 - £100 per day, based on 37 hours/week, during term time plus one week of inset.

GRADUATES! If you are a graduate considering a teaching career, this role provides valuable classroom experience. We can support your application for teacher training within our Trust.
