Job description

Axcis are pleased to be working exclusively with a well-renowned, inclusive and respected college in Filton, Bristol who are looking for two learning support workers to join their team starting as soon as possible. For both positions, the support will entail a mixture of small group support with some 1-1 support where necessary and you will be supporting learners with mild learning difficulties, Autism and some with social anxiety, all of whom are engaged with the support and keen to learn.

The two roles available are as follows:

  1. 1 x full time position totalling 30 hours per week, working the following hours providing the below support:
    Monday - Construction Grp 08:20 to 15:05
    Tuesday - L3 Sport Grp 09:30 to 17:00
    Wednesday - IT & Construction Grp 09:15 to 15:00
    Thursday - Grp Support 09:15 to 16:45
    Friday - L2 Business & Construction Grp 09:15 to 15:45
  2. 1 x part time position totalling 24 hours per week, working the following hours providing the below support:
    Tuesday - L1 Art & Design Grp 09:20 to 16:10
    Wednesday - L2 E Sports Grp 09:30 to 15:00
    Thursday - GCSE Eng & L1 Art & Design 09:15 to 17:15
    Friday - L1 Art & Design Grp 09:20 to 16:05

For both positions, the pay is £16.50 per hour and you will be paid weekly every Friday, a week in arrears. Due to the ages of those you will be supporting, you must have a Child And Adult DBS on the Update Service; however, should you not already have one, Axcis can assist you in obtaining one. The college has a large staff car park should you drive, in addition to being extremely accessible for those on public transport too.
