We are seeking enthusiastic Graduate SEND Support Staff to work in a variety of school settings, supporting children with diverse learning needs. This role is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or child development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Assist in the planning and delivery of personalised learning programmes.
Use creative, hands-on approaches to engage and motivate learners.
Build positive, trusting relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
Support children in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
Work closely with teaching staff to implement Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to colleagues and parents.
About You:
Recent graduate with a passion for education and supporting diverse learners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic, patient, and adaptable in challenging situations.
Willingness to learn and grow in the field of education.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
