Who We Are Looking For:

This role would be suited to either a graduate with a technical/commercial/facilities management focus or a person seeking to progress into operational infrastructure management services and looking for a new challenge.

Principal Responsibilities

General

Assisting The Project General Manager To:

  • Provide general management, operations management, compliance management, and policy implementation to Project Co.
  • Act in the best interests of Project Co in dealings with the Client, Sub-Contractors, Service Providers, and advisors.
  • Attend meetings upon reasonable notice as requested by stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the Project Documents.
  • Participate in good faith discussions to mitigate or resolve potential disputes.

Operations Management

Assisting The Project General Manager To:

  • Monitor and report on operations and maintenance activities, including reactive maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with Project Co's obligations under the Project Documents.
  • Arrange, review, and maintain operational insurances and reinstatement valuations.
  • Review and challenge lifecycle planning and asset management proposals.
  • Manage, agree, report, and deliver Project variations.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders.

Management of Project Obligations

Assisting The Project General Manager To:

  • Manage or perform obligations required under the Project Documents in a timely manner.
  • Monitor Sub-Contractor or Service Provider performance and compliance.
  • Review monthly performance reports and prepare Client reports in support of invoicing.
  • Attend progress meetings and manage performance shortfalls.
  • Prepare and issue notices, reports, and documents as required.
  • Manage interface issues and resolve defect issues satisfactorily.

Commercial Support

Assisting The Project General Manager To:

  • Provide commercial support on operational matters, including interpreting the payment mechanism and evaluating deductions.
  • Manage and coordinate legal/commercial workstreams as directed.
  • Prepare and provide reports required by Shareholders and Finance Documents.
  • Liaise with the finance team to ensure financial and company secretarial obligations are met.

Compliance Management Services

Assisting The Project General Manager To:

  • Conduct monthly site-based reviews of statutory and non-statutory maintenance obligations.
  • Procure ad hoc compliance management services.
  • Provide compliance management services, including Management Review if requested.
  • Develop knowledge-based working practices aligned with technical standards and operational practices.

Additional Ad Hoc Duties

Assisting The Project General Manager To:

  • Carry out additional duties as may be required by EMS from time to time.
