We're looking for a Graduate Nuclear Consultant to join our award-winning Nuclear team in our Manchester or Warrington office, as part of our 2025 Graduate Programme (Autumn). In this role, you'll deliver sustainable projects for communities, the planet, and society.

Our Nuclear Division has provided strategic and advisory consultancy support to the nuclear industry since 2005, working with operators and regulators across new build, existing, decommissioning, and defense markets. We specialize in safety cases, environmental management, nuclear safety governance, radioactive waste management, and decommissioning strategy, supporting clients like Small Modular Reactors, nuclear power station developers, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Nuclear Waste Services, and other nuclear-related organizations. We help ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Our Nuclear Hydrock now Stantec 3T Team

In 2023, 3T Safety Consultants Ltd joined Hydrock now Stantec, becoming Hydrock now Stantec 3T. Based at Birchwood Park, Warrington, the team has a strong track record in nuclear safety assessments, hazard identification studies, safety case documents, and safety strategy development, working with clients such as Urenco, Babcock Marine, Canadian Nuclear Laboratory, Sellafield Ltd, Nuclear Restoration Services, and ANSTO.

As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment, developing your expertise with support from colleagues and senior staff in a collaborative culture.

Your role includes:

  • Providing technical support on projects across disciplines such as safety assurance, radioactive waste, and environmental assessment;
  • Leading specific technical tasks like data assessment, documentation review, report writing, and workshop participation;
  • Supporting client engagement, business development, and bid submissions.

  • Possess a degree and/or master's in a relevant field, with an interest in energy supply and infrastructure, and awareness of the nuclear landscape;
