Graduate Noise and Vibration Consultant - Doncaster - 25,000 to 30,000 + Full Training + Benefits

A UK-based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy is looking to recruit a Graduate Noise and Vibration Consultant to join their growing team in Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to begin a career in the specialist field of noise and vibration, supporting infrastructure, transport, and industrial projects across the UK.

Essential Criteria:

  • A degree (BSc or MSc) in Acoustics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related subject.

  • A keen interest in noise and vibration measurement, analysis, and control.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A full UK driving licence.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Familiarity with UK acoustic standards such as BS4142, BS6472, or BS5228.

  • Experience using modelling tools (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN) or vibration monitoring equipment.

  • Any academic or placement-based experience in environmental monitoring or consultancy.

The Role:
As a Graduate Consultant, you will assist with site monitoring, technical analysis, and report writing for noise and vibration projects in sectors such as rail, road, industrial, and commercial development. You'll receive full training and mentoring from experienced consultants as you progress within the company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting environmental noise and vibration surveys across various project sites.

  • Supporting data processing, analysis, and technical reporting.

  • Assisting with noise modelling and impact assessments.

  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Developing technical knowledge and industry insight through hands-on experience.

This is a full-time, Doncaster-based position, offering a competitive graduate salary ( 25,000- 30,000), full mentoring and training, structured career development, pension contributions, and the chance to work on nationally recognised infrastructure projects.
