Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Mining Engineer to join the expanding mining capabilities in the North of the UK. You will work with multidisciplinary teams on underground infrastructure projects across the Europe, Middle East, Africa region and beyond.

You will develop analytical and report writing skills, engage in meetings, site visits, and potentially overseas work while contributing to resilient, low-carbon mining solutions and digital subsurface modelling techniques.

Qualifications

• Strong A-levels (or equivalent) at Grade B or above.
• Ideally studying towards a Masters level (or PhD) in mining engineering, metallurgy / minerals processing, exploration/mining geology, tunnelling or rock mechanics or a related degree.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or above, as proven through the modules that you have completed to date.
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in the mining or underground engineering space.

Responsibilities
