Are you interested in supporting the mental health of young people? A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is seeking a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students are aged between 10 and 16 and face challenges including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioral issues. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, empathetic, resilient, and experienced with SEN children and/or adults, or graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling.

This role offers a great opportunity to start a career in Psychology, Mental Health, or Education, making a positive impact on young lives.

Start date: September 2024
Salary: £80-£85 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, PAYE, term time only
Training and Support: On-site training, support, and CPD provided to ensure safeguarding
Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK; no Visa sponsorship
