MBDA invites applications for the Mechanical Missile Architect - Graduate Programme 2027 in Stevenage. The role combines design leadership with hands-on development across missile systems, offering a platform to influence products from concept to delivery.

We expect a degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, or Production/Manufacturing Engineering (2:2 min). The programme includes a generous starting salary, joining bonus, a 2-year progression plan, and extensive development opportunities

Qualifications

• Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Production/Manufacturing Engineering (2:2 minimum)
• BPSS security checks after offer stage may be required
• British Citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship for security clearance

Responsibilities

• Establish a coherent top-level missile design
• Develop and deliver the missile's verification and validation strategy
• Deliver and support a product our customers are satisfied with
• Manage the equipment design process
• Perform risk analysis, supplier down select and trade studies
• Develop and manage equipment verification and validation processes
• Ensure on-quality, on-schedule and on-cost delivery of supplier hardware
• Collaborate with multiple technical functions across MBDA
