Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer 2024

The Role

We are seeking Graduate Mechanical Engineers to assist with UK infrastructure projects, participating in a 3-year graduate development program to enhance technical and professional skills. You will work under supervision and collaborate with the site team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety compliance and uphold quality standards.
• Review M&E designs for compliance with UK standards.
• Gather client requirements and incorporate them into designs.
• Provide buildability advice and solutions.
• Support tendering processes with third-party designers and suppliers.
• Assist in project coordination to meet budget and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Support project management, resource planning, and team motivation.
• Adopt and promote Ferrovial’s values and work ownership.
• Follow safety regulations on site.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Degree or Master’s in Engineering (all disciplines considered).
• Motivated, analytical, proactive, and industry-aware.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Interpersonal Skills
