The Design Service team in Richmond and Wandsworth Council supports a wide range of essential consultancy services to maintain the Councils' building infrastructure, ensuring facilities are useful, safe, enjoyable, and comfortable for service users and staff.
As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will work alongside the M&E Building Services team while studying for your professional qualification. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals from the Council, delivering essential services in a dynamic environment. Building professional relationships and adapting to a diverse client base are key aspects of this role.

About the role
We are looking to recruit a graduate in mechanical engineering. The role is a fixed-term contract, with the duration depending on your course of study. Ideally, candidates will already have a qualification or be currently studying. Applicants must have resided in the UK for at least two years.
The primary focus will be to undertake a training program to gain a relevant qualification. During your studies, you will be mentored by members of the Design Service and will support them in various tasks.
