Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes
Term: Permanent
Salary: 25,000 to 30,000 per annum

A growing engineering company based in Milton Keynes is looking to take on a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate to develop their engineering career within a supportive and technically engaging environment.

The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  
  
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and design fundamentals
  
  
• Experience using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  
  
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  
  
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  
• An interest in developing products from concept through to manufacture
  
  

The Graduate Mechanical Engineer role will involve:

• Supporting the design and development of new and existing products
  
  
• Creating and modifying 3D models and technical drawings
  
  
• Assisting with testing and validation of prototypes
  
  
• Working closely with senior engineers on project work
  
  
• Preparing documentation such as BOMs and technical reports
  
  
• Participating in team meetings and design reviews
