About the consultancy and vacancy

Known as the South West’s leading, independently owned Building Services specific consultancy, this company is going through a phase of growth and looking to complement their Design division with an Exeter based Graduate Mechanical Engineer. Ideally, we seek someone with green/sustainability principles at the core of their being and a passion for design.

The type of degree we are looking for will be Built Environment, Architectural Engineering specific, degrees such as Architecture & Environmental Design, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Sustainable Building Design. We may also consider individuals with a Mechanical Engineering degree, who may have a placement, internship or experience within the Built Environment.

With 5 offices around the South West and over 20 years of experience establishing themselves in the region, this consultancy works on only the best of projects. They work in all sectors, have a reputation for their BIM operations/standards and will be able to offer progression in this role as well as a hands-on development approach.

What this consultancy is looking for from the successful Graduate Mechanical Engineer
  • Ideally a building services or sustainability specific degree
  • A good understanding or working knowledge of software packages such as AutoCAD, Hevacomp or Revit.
  • A building services, HVAC, mechanical or electrical background/placement would be advantageous but not essential
  • The desire to progress as an individual within the sustainability environment.
