JOB- Graduate Mechanical Engineer

LOCATION- Dartford

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £26,000 per annum

Premier Engineering is working with a well-established engineering company based in Dartford, who are looking to recruit a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to develop their engineering skills and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing environment.

The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (BEng, MEng, HND, etc.)
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and problem-solving techniques
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Familiarity with engineering materials, manufacturing processes, and component design
• A keen interest in developing engineering solutions and learning on the job
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development

The Graduate Mechanical Engineer role will involve:

• Supporting the design and development of mechanical components and systems
• Assisting with the creation of technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs
• Working closely with senior engineers on ongoing projects
• Conducting testing and analysis of designs and prototypes
• Collaborating with other departments, including production and quality assurance
• Gaining exposure to different aspects of engineering, including design, manufacturing, and project management
