Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant to support students in a North London secondary school. You will work with the Maths department to help students build confidence, strengthen mathematical skills and make progress in their learning.

You will support lessons, work with small groups and individuals, reinforce concepts, assist with activities and classroom management, and promote positive engagement and behaviour to help pupils reach their academic potential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Mathematics or a Maths-related subject.
• Ideally, have previous experience working in a school or supporting young people.
• Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths.
• Be confident communicating mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Have a patient, supportive and proactive approach to working with students.
• Be enthusiastic about helping young people achieve their academic potential.
• Be available to start immediately and commit to a long-term role.
