Options Technology Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Market Data Support Engineer in Cambridge to join our global support team.

You will be the front line for our market data platform, ensuring real-time and historical data services run smoothly in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The role involves Linux administration, API support, and scripting in Python or Bash, with opportunities to learn and grow within a high-performing team that values innovation and travel.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Familiarity with Linux OS or willingness to learn.
• Scripting experience in Python or Bash.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/UDP, DNS).
• Strong communication skills for client interactions.
• Curious, analytical mindset with methodical problem-solving.
• Interest in financial markets or market data is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line support to clients activating real-time market data APIs across languages.
• Monitor global servers and network devices, identify and resolve issues proactively and reactively.
• Build and maintain client relationships through ongoing engagement.
• Assist with onboarding and certification of new market data feeds and integrations.
• Contribute to incident reviews with root-cause analysis and preventative actions.
