Graduate Manufacturing Technician — Milton Keynes — £32,000

Recently finished your engineering apprenticeship / degree and looking for that entry into the world of motorsport? Do you want to be directly involved in producing parts that manufacture race car parts you see on the F1 circuit? Read on…!

The Business

You will be working within a small precision machining environment, who supply complex parts and jigs to a number of high-end names in the industry. They have a small team of engineers, working within a newly refurbished F1esque environment. As they are a small team you will be given the chance to get involved in all aspects of the assembly & manufacturing process.

The Role

You will be using all of your engineering knowledge and putting it into practice by operating specialist computer-controlled machinery. This will involve you ensuring the right tooling is selected and set to the right lengths, loading the machine with metallic material and ensuring the smooth running of the machine.

What we need from you
  • Eagerness to want to learn a completely brand new skill, while using your engineering knowledge!
  • Strong geometry knowledge
  • Desire to be hands on, working on a busy shopfloor
